India`s R&D blooming with invention of $35 Tablet PC


Ever since Apple launched ipad few years back, world has seen a whole new possibility of how the computing can be made much faster, easier and off course stylish.Optimizing further, many editions of Tablet PC`s such as Blackberry Playbook, Adam Notion, Motorola xoom etc did come in to the market.But I feel the most wonderful discovery of the year would be the brilliantly working "35$ TABLET PC - SAKSHAT" developed by researchers from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India.

The price does not compromise the quality of the Tab, it is heavy duty tab comes with 7-inch touchscreen tablet, , video conferencing , multimedia content, Wi-Fi, USB port, 32GB hard drive and 2GB RAM supporting Open Office, SciLab and Internet browsing.I just feel wow!!. Rated Best by the NDTV Gadget Guru, this product would be released by the end of June 2011.

Miniaturization being the keyword, this tablet would definitely draw the market if it wins the people by its performance, and would be big challenge to MIT Boston`s 100$ Tablet PC project. However 35$ would still be an affordable risk for people to check out.

Facebook Messaging- Email reinvented

At web 2.0 summit, California, Mark Zuckerburg announced the release of new Facebook Messaging services, its a exciting stuff which would consist of email,IM and SMS altogether, making conversation much simpler, less formal, and easily accessible to all ages. soon you can request for a "urname@facebook.com" id for this service. Everybody needs to communication but if we observe different age groups have different pattern of communication.The high school kids prefer sms rather than emails as has more procedures than sms, a bit older generation may prefer chatting/ IM (Instant messaging) than texting or they may use emails or similar, so the facebook thinks if it could combine Texting-IM-Email together then it would be serving all category of people. My seminar- funfilled experince.....

Teaching and oratership had always fascinated me and it was the day i had to deliver a technical seminar as a part of our curriculum, the presentation which i was about to give, was my research paper so i was very comfortable with the technicalities, but for me the major concern was that how could i make the presentation simple, informative and full of fun. In my opinion the standards of the technical seminars in our college is very low,its just for the sake of it and making the attendence compulsory is a torture for many.Well i considered myself lucky that i dint have much work to do on learning the presentation stuff....
