Hitting rock bottom...

A season of winter passed, and the spring has come up, trees have lost all the leaves and are waiting for the new green, sun rays passing in the midst of the these trees are welcoming the summer…..a lot has passed and happened since I had hit my blog, there is so much I had to share in between these days but may be silence had won the battle of time…..I would not dig in to all the matter which happened in these days and would perhaps look forward for the greener grass ahead…. Standing on the parapet of a multi storied hotel in early 3 rd week of March 2009, at morning 8.30, I was about to leave to witness the worst; I hated to go, in fact it was one of the most disgusting day in my life which I had to face with no choice, I never wished this to happen, the air I breathed had no purpose on that day. Sometimes situations do come in life where you feel like a big looser, a looser who has lost it all, absolutely everything, including the willingness to gather strength an

Ever since Apple launched ipad few years back, world has seen a whole new possibility of how the computing can be made much faster, easier and off course stylish.Optimizing further, many editions of Tablet PC`s such as Blackberry Playbook, Adam Notion, Motorola xoom etc did come in to the market. But I feel the most wonderful discovery of the year would be the brilliantly working "35$ TABLET PC - SAKSHAT" developed by researchers from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. The price does not compromise the quality of the Tab, it is heavy duty tab comes with 7-inch touchscreen tablet, , video conferencing , multimedia content, Wi-Fi, USB port, 32GB hard drive and 2GB RAM supporting Open Office, SciLab and Internet browsing.I just feel wow!!. Miniaturization being the keyword, this tablet would definitely draw the market if it wins the people by its performance, and would

Image
The Santa, who gifted the most successful search engine to the world, was about to open a new gift from the same bag this Christmas. Former CTO of Sun and the current CEO of Google, Eric Schmidt, released the "Chrome Operating system- Powered Laptop" in San Francisco recently. Google is spreading its wings in all the sectors of technology be it the Google ebook store or the Nexus mobile, and now the Chrome OS,the R&D of google is blooming, however, the success of each product is yet to be tasted. About the Chrome OS- laptops, which will be manufactured by Samsung and Acer would consist of Intel Atom processor (with mini 12.1 inches screen). In spite of being released from the technology giants like Google the company decided not to put any logo or branding on the laptop . It looks like, company wants the laptop, to achieve success through its performance and not through the logo on it. Hope it wont turn down like the Nexus. That`s not all it comes with a 100MB permonth

Facebook Messaging- Email reinvented

Image
At web 2.0 summit, California, Mark Zuckerburg announced the release of new Facebook Messaging services, its a exciting stuff which would consist of email,IM and SMS altogether, making conversation much simpler, less formal, and easily accessible to all ages. soon you can request for a "urname@facebook.com" id for this service. Everybody needs to communication but if we observe different age groups have different pattern of communication. The high school kids prefer sms rather than emails as has more procedures than sms, a bit older generation may prefer chatting/ IM (Instant messaging) than texting or they may use emails or similar, so the facebook thinks if it could combine Texting-IM-Email together then it would be serving all category of people. It claims that this is Email reinvented yet not killing it!!! hope it serves its purpose... Cheers Sainath

NMIT-Share and Care

Image
I always wanted to write something about the placement experience that i had during my final and pre final year B.E, thanks to Mr. V. N. Kulkarni,Head, Training & Placement,NMIT for implementing this idea of Share and Care. My intention of sharing is not just giving some tips for getting through the interview, I am sure u can search those in Google. What exactly I aim to share, is the state of mind of that student on the day of placement, who’s going to switch from learning to earning mode in life. I can relate the placement day situation to a typical Cow festival in villages, where in lots of well domesticated Cows (here we the trained engineers) are sold (placed) in market according to their quality and ability. Later the cow works for the master throughout the life, hence Lesson#1-Identify your master ( your company) well, so do your homework before- have a good study about the company. Make sure where u want to be after 5 or 10 years, so plan. I remember

"Utha Utha ho sakalika, vaache smarava gajmukh ridhi sidhicha nayak, sukhdayak bhakatashi Utha Utha ho sakalika , vaache smarava gajmuk" This Marathi ganapati bhajan sung in melodious voice of Lata Mangeshkar, just energised the aura around the house today morning....Its a special day in house and also to all Hindus as all are merely busy preparing to welcome the GOD of Cognizance "Shree Ganesh" The aroma of fresh flowers, beautiful colourful Rangoli design, and the delicious Modaks are making this morning different from mundane dawn.As the puja proceeded, we had a aarti and mantrapushpam..... The bhajan reminds me of the days ten years back when i along with al my cousins used to muster at our granny`s place and this song used to be played on a tape recorder.... Well though its difficult for me to think that kinda reunion again because of the work chores... but i would pray god that it would happen again....by saying "ganpati bappa morya , phudcha varshi
